Volunteers, Volunteers, Volunteers!!!

Come join us in the remodeled Library.  Betty is in the process of scheduling many programs in the Library and Community Room.  In order to continue to schedule these programs, she is looking for volunteers to help her out.  If you are interested in working in this fun environment, call Betty at 715-686-2926.

Volunteers play a vital role by providing assistance in the library. They perform a wide variety of services and contribute to the maintenance of a user friendly atmosphere within the library.

If you would like to contribute your skills to the library by volunteering in any capacity, please contact the director.

Winchester Women's Civic Club

The Women's Civic Club celebrated 61 years in 2012.  Their members are from Winchester, who meet the second and fourth Mondays of the month in the community room next to the library.  They have two fund raisers a year, a bazaar in July and a craft show in Presque Isle called Christmas in November.  The money made goes for community projects such as: the ambulance and fire department, the library, Secret Santa Shop, Christmas for the needy, scholarships for graduating seniors, plus unexpected needs in the community. They also sponsor two blood drives a year, one in June and the other in September. The club is welcome to all women who live in Winchester.
